I found other projects quite similar and almost complete, but DXGL seems more straightforward.

Hi, great project! :) I just recently testing out DXGL with the dx7sdk samples, it works with the latest release but I noticed some issues like images not loading, lighting and some 3d stuff not displaying or loading.
