Old browser compatibility

Due to the pending removal of TLS 1.0 and 1.1 I have launched a HTTP-only version of the DXGL website, to allow older computers to continue to download DXGL: http://www.dxgl.info If you have a modern web browser (one that supports HSTS preload) you will be automatically redirected to HTTPS. Please n...

Re: Allegro Compiled with DXGL? (ZC-related)

Further, is it possible to keep the DXGL configs for ZC, in the ZC path? That would also help, to create a 'default' installation to dist with ZC 2.53.0+. Next version of DXGL is planned to have a "Save INI File..." option which will create a file called dxgl.ini which will store all options for DX...

Re: App DB Account Login/Creation Seems to be Broken

Hi. Unfortunately it has been quite broken for a while; one of these days I will either need to re-build it from the latest version of AppDB or fix up the wiki to organize compatibility pages.

Notice: Removal of TLS 1.0 and 1.1

In order to continue to comply with current TLS standards, this website will discontinue support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 before the end of the day of June 29, 2018 (EDT). If after the removal your browser does not work you will need to upgrade it to the latest version. Users of Windows XP or Vista will ...

Re: does this work with windowed games?

Hello! Just to understand it clearly, is there any way to 2x-scale windowed games, such as the original Jumper? Or else, updated plans for future 'forced fullscreen' mode? I would just be happy with changing the size of the contents of the window, even though I know I there might be problems with t...

Re: Upcoming changes for GDPR

IP addresses are no longer logged unless the server generates an error (this is an Nginx bug). IP addresses are still logged by the forum during the registration process as an anti-spam measure (see IP bans in the topic below this one). The downloads section is now log-free, including the Visual C++...

Re: Upcoming changes for GDPR

Since Bugzilla already displays a privacy warning, I will be canceling any changes to the bug tracker for the time being. This privacy notice has already been added to the site's Privacy Policy and has been in place for many years.

Re: Allegro Compiled with DXGL? (ZC-related)

Hi William, is it safe to experiment a bit if you have a ddraw.lib copy? Is it easy to revert back to that copy if something goes wrong? The .lib does not contain any DXGL components, as it is compiled as a DLL. The DLL has to be placed in the game folder to work, something DXGL Config does automat...

Upcoming changes for GDPR

Since GDPR will be coming in force on May 25, 2018, and there are several users of the DXGL website from Europe, some changes will be made. E-mail addresses are no longer displayed in the forum, instead e-mailing will open a form for sending an e-mail to the user. Please note your e-mail address may...

Notice: IP bans

I have begun to issue IP address bans for users established for the sole purpose of posting forum spam on my forums. All of the banned IP addresses so far are outside the USA at this time. EDIT: I have encountered one spam user originating from a Google Cloud server. Still, I have not found any IP a...
