Gotcha. When I tried running the game in the default "Change desktop resolution" I ended up with a black screen (music still playing in the background and I was able to click on game selections from my memory of their on-screen locations, but the display was black). I'm pretty sure my 192...

Unfortunately, mouse support is limited on scaled modes at this time. If your graphics adapter supports the display mode that Might and Magic VI runs at, try switching back to "Change desktop resolution" to see if the problem goes away.

Unfortunately the new config GUI isn't my priority; the current priority is a major rewrite of the rendering backend in order to improve performance, as Direct3D games such as Rogue Squadron 3D (D3D6) are only marginally playable.

It's not the GOG.com version of the game it's the Settlers 4 Gold version. Does this occur with the English GOG.com version of Settlers 4?
Have you tried setting the Fullscreen window mode to non-exclusive fullscreen?

Are you talking about mouse capture, like in DOSBox or VMware?
